After 12 years of experience in Shipbuilding & Marine Diesel Engine industry, Serafim Lourenco started a business venture in June 1998, supplying Marine Diesel Engines and Marine Diesel Generating Sets to medium sized shipyards. In a short time Marine Transmissions, Hydraulic Steering Gear & Engine Controls were added to the product profile.

In October 2002, the proprietorship firm “LOURENÇO MARINE” was established in Goa, on the West Coast of India.
